SPF, DKIM, and DMARC: The Trio Protecting Your Domain

Hackers love to spoof domains and send fake emails. To fight back, you need to configure SPF, DKIM, and DMARC. Together, they protect your domain from being abused.
1. SPF (Sender Policy Framework)
Defines which mail servers are allowed to send for your domain. Example: v=spf1 include:mailserver.com ~all
2. DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail)
Signs outgoing mail with a private key so recipients can verify it hasn’t been altered.
3. DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting & Conformance)
Sets rules for handling unauthenticated mail and sends reports to you about suspicious activity.
Why They Work Best Together
SPF alone isn’t enough. DKIM adds verification, and DMARC ties them together, giving you full control and visibility.
